Established in 1987, Central Florida Woodturners is an organization created to provide local woodturners with woodturning demonstrations, information, and ongoing education while sharing in a social and interactive environment. We want to promote the art of woodturning as a skill for all ages!

Central Florida Woodturners meet monthly and host a variety of special events throughout the year. We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at Woodcraft of Orlando (Jan - Oct) and Rockler Altamonte Springs (Nov). December is our year-end party with no permanent location.

During our monthly meetings we have a SHOW and TELL where members show and explain one of their turnings. We also hold WOOD AUCTIONS that can get pretty lively (!)… And then we have a LIVE DEMONSTRATION by a renowned woodurner. Occasionally, we have members demonstrate a particular technique, turning or tool.

Whether you are a novice or a seasoned turner, we believe there is always something you can learn and share.
